“Has he lost it? -Watch as Disgusted and Angry Frank Lampard FUMES at Sunderland man at full-time after last gasp Coventry loss at Stadium of Light — What he did will SHOCK Sunderland fans!’

FRANK LAMPARD reacted angrily as a mocking pitch invader tried to snap a selfie following Coventry’s last-minute play-off heartbreak.

Dan Ballard’s 122nd-minute leveller secured Sunderland a Wembley showdown with Sheffield United as a 1-1 draw sealed a 3-2 aggregate victory.

And as a group of fans poured onto the field at the Stadium of Light, Sky Blues boss Lampard found himself caught up in the chaos.

The stern-faced Chelsea icon responded irritably when a smiling, shirtless supporter swiftly approached and came within inches.

The fan held a phone aloft and seemed to be trying to grab a photo with Lampard.

The former England star pushed him away, then turned and began walking off.

One spectator shared a video of the awkward moment on social media – and criticised the fan’s behaviour.

He wrote: “Not sure trying to get a selfie with a manager that’s literally just lost a play-off semi final, in injury time of EXTRA time, is the smartest move… Keep it together super Frank Lampard!”

Another posted: “The cheek of this Sunderland fan trying to get a selfie with Frank Lampard after that last gasp winner…”

A third blasted: “No way bro.”

The unpleasant encounter on the pitch came as Lampard was digesting the most devastating of semi-final exits.

Trailing 2-1 from the opening leg, Coventry’s intense approach dominated much of the second leg at the SoL.

Ephron Mason-Clark deservedly netted on 76 minutes to drag the tie into extra time.

And it was late into stoppage time during that added half-hour when Ballard rose to head in off the underside of the bar.

That sent Sunderland into a £200million clash with the Blades on May 24 for a place in the Premier League.
