GOODBYE – Fabrizio Romano confirms that Leeds United Top-class star has packed his bags and will be LEAVING Elland Road – He’s open to new chapter with contract due to expire in the coming weeks

Josuha Guilavogui is expected to depart Leeds United this summer and become a free agent once more.

That’s according to RMC Sport and journalist Fabrice Hawkins, who claim that Leeds have opted not to renew the midfielder’s contract.

RMC Sport state that after featuring in 16 matches during Leeds’ promotion back to the Premier League this campaign, Josuha Guilavogui is poised to exit Elland Road in the upcoming transfer window.

The midfielder had only penned a one-year deal with Leeds, and it seems Daniel Farke’s side have chosen not to prolong the 34-year-old’s stay. He will once again be without a club.

RMC note that Guilavogui is open to a fresh opportunity, so it appears that he does not plan to hang up his boots but continue his playing career elsewhere.

He’s had a diverse journey so far, having played in France, Spain, Germany and England with Leeds, who he joined on a free transfer in October 2024 after being released by Mainz in July last year. He had also been a free agent before that following his exit from Wolfsburg in July 2023 and subsequent move to Mainz in September.

Now he finds himself in a familiar position, with Leeds deciding not to retain him for another season after clinching their return to the top flight.
