NafisaLuis Palma has endured a challenging campaign, both at Celtic and during his loan stint.
After failing to secure a regular spot in Brendan Rodgers’ starting lineup, Palma was loaned out to Olympiacos in the Greek Super League, where he was part of the squad that clinched their first league triumph since 2022.
The Honduras international wasn’t a consistent presence in the lineup either, and the winger managed just one goal in 10 outings – most of which came as a substitute.
So, it’s no shock to learn that Olympiacos won’t be signing Palma on a permanent basis, though he could still remain in Greece.

It’s doubtful we’ll see Palma wear the Celtic shirt again as a summer overhaul at Parkhead is expected to see fringe players offloaded and fresh arrivals come in.
Palma won’t be lacking suitors though, with SportTime in Greece stating that three clubs in the region are monitoring his situation.
AEK Athens and Panathinaikos both listed the 25-year-old as a target back in January and may be inclined to revisit that interest, alongside PAOK, who are also tracking the winger.
If a deal were to materialize, it would be Palma’s third spell in Greece, having already featured for Aris Thessaloniki – the club Celtic acquired him from.

When the 25-year-old initially arrived in Glasgow, he appeared to be the wide player the team had been missing.
However, we’ve only witnessed glimpses of that quality since December 2023, with Palma finding it hard to rediscover his rhythm.
The move to Olympiacos was seen as a chance to get more minutes and rebuild confidence, but neither objective was truly met.
With three years remaining on his Celtic deal, the Hoops will still be able to command a transfer fee for the winger, giving Palma the opportunity to move on and reignite his career elsewhere.
