NafisaBrendan Rodgers has responded to Celtic’s tie with Rangers.
The Celtic manager aimed to end a two-game losing run against the Ibrox side after experiencing a loss in the New Year and at Celtic Park last month.
In truth, Celtic’s draw with Rangers had little impact on the league standings, but there was pride at stake for Rodgers, as the Hoops boss boasts a strong Glasgow Derby record against Barry Ferguson’s squad.
Commenting on the outcome inside Ibrox, Rodgers has shared his candid thoughts as the final derby of the season concluded in a deadlock and addressed the bottle-throwing incident.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Rodgers said, “But listen, we had two moments, didn’t we? You know, it was nowhere near a penalty in the first half.
“I think both players probably not near to the ball, Callum and Hagi, and so it was never a penalty. But on our offside one you just never know.
“But thankfully, the decision was right, and the goal stood, and again, it gave us good momentum in the second half.”
And on the objects thrown by the Rangers supporters, when asked if this needs stamped out, Rodgers said, “Always. I think that it’s natural.
“It’s something that we’ve been here a few times, and there’s been these incidents, but thankfully, they got them off the pitch quickly, and we could play on.”
Celtic now have greater priorities than Rangers
Celtic can now close the chapter on the Scottish Premiership season now that the final Glasgow Derby of the season has concluded.
For now, Rodgers must concentrate on the treble and the Scottish Cup final against Aberdeen.
While acknowledging that Celtic still have matches to play against Hibs, Aberdeen, and St Mirren, the Hampden final must take precedence for Rodgers.
A world-record ninth domestic treble would be the crowning achievement for the Hoops manager as Celtic continue to be Scotland’s most triumphant club.
