Everton Expected to Retain Iliman Ndiaye Amid January Speculation

Everton are unlikely to part ways with Iliman Ndiaye during the January transfer window despite potential interest, according to veteran commentator Ian Darke.

Ndiaye, who joined the Toffees from Marseille earlier this season, has offered glimpses of brilliance in a struggling side now under David Moyes, who replaced Sean Dyche.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Darke expressed doubts about Ndiaye being the subject of serious bids before the window closes on 3 February.

“I would be surprised if there were clubs queueing at the door to prise him away from Everton,” Darke stated. “He’s been good, he brings much-needed flair to the side, but probably not to the level where someone will come in waving a huge cheque – especially with the PSR constrictions.”

He added: “Is he a player a recruitment officer would look at to give you that number 10 creative option? Possibly, yes. But it’s probably one for the summer if so. I think Everton probably keep him.”
