According to Top Mercato, Leeds have submitted an official proposal for the RC Lens centre-back, giving them an edge over their Premier League rivals.
RC Lens are under financial pressure and need to raise €44 million in January to balance their books, making Khusanov a prime candidate for a winter transfer. The deal is being facilitated by super-agent Jorge Mendes, who is expected to play a key role in finalising the move.
