Kristjaan Speakman Eyes January Solutions
Sporting director Kristjaan Speakman is expected to address the depth issue during the January transfer window, with Sunderland reportedly targeting several key areas in need of reinforcement.
One priority position is on the wings, where injuries and a lack of options have left Le Bris short. A potential solution could be Aston Villa’s Louie Barry, currently thriving on loan at League One side Stockport County.
The 21-year-old left-winger has been in scintillating form, scoring 14 league goals this season. His confidence and attacking flair would be a welcome addition to Sunderland’s squad as they look to maintain their promotion challenge.
