Manchester United’s 3-0 victory over Leicester City at Old Trafford sparked a sincere exchange, with Amad Diallo sending an emotional message that caught the attention of captain Bruno Fernandes.

Following the match, Diallo shared photos of himself alongside Fernandes and United legend Ruud van Nistelrooy, posting on X, “Important win, see you soon,” with heart emojis.
The 22-year-old then shared the images on Instagram, where Fernandes warmly replied, “Piccolo,” adding a heart emoji.
This match marked the end of Van Nistelrooy’s successful interim spell as United’s manager, where he led the team to three wins and a draw.
The Dutch legend, who had returned to Old Trafford as part of Erik ten Hag’s coaching staff, stepped in as interim manager after Ten Hag’s recent sacking.

His leadership provided stability and crucial points, positioning the team within reach of the top four.
Bruno Fernandes, who scored the opener against Leicester, expressed optimism about building on the win: “It was a really good win, important because we need points in the league.”
He added, “As many strikers say, when you open the tomato sauce, it’s tough at first, but once it starts, it all comes out at once.
Hopefully, it’s not going to stop”as Manchester United, currently 13th, sit just four points outside the top four, despite their rocky start.
